BEERS ARE GOOD!

Here's God's greatest creation BEER..  Ah BEER..  How I love the effect to make males more stupid than they already are. How I love the denial and forgiveness granted to intoxicate. Don't you just love the silly feeling of giddiness, silliness and hot burning cheeks? Excuse me, the HOT burning cheeks are from the chic kissing me on the cheeks..  *BURP*...  What..  It was actually from me burning myself on the stove top??

Ah, I love..  BEER....  BEER....  The German Beer..  The French Beer..  and that cute, slender,  red..  Brazilian.. Oh, off course I was referring to the beer and not fantasizing about some hot Brazilian chic…   What were you thinking..  BEER.. Ah..  the good tasting .....  Where was I?

(The beer adventure continues)

Kelowna Update

I have been in Kelowna for 2 months now. When I first arrived in town, I had stayed in hotel for 2 weeks. The hotels were really booked starting July onwards so I had to seek other places. My mom came down to help me out, but was not successful in finding accommodations. Just before my hotel was due, one of my colleagues offered me to stay with them. Soon after, I found an ad for rental around the hospital area. Within one day, I had sealed the deal with the landlord. I was fortunate to find out they were Christians as well.

Once again I had to start cooking all by myself again. None of that good Home-cooking anymore. In my spare times, I started to read Christian reading, investments, and done a lot of sports. I’ve been down to the golf course around 4 times already; unfortunately I have not improved at all.

Below, is the house where I’m currently living in. See the window that’s open to the far LEFT??? That’s my room. It’s small, but it works perfectly for me (believe it or not, I’ve misplaced my keys too many times in my little room).

This one is a picture I’ve took from the golf course. It was taken shortly after a thunderstorm that I endured on the golf course. Although I was soaked, but I was grateful for mother Earth’s splendid beauty.

My Side Of the Mountain

Open, twisty roads encirles the Lake Okanagen. On my first weekend in Kelowna, I decided to go for a ride around town. Little did I know, it would be such a pleasure to be driving around Kelowna. I was up on the Hills and to my passenger's window was the outlook down towards Lake Okanagen. It was spectular.  I was totally in unison with the CAR, driving past the wine vineyards, the Lake, the Beachs, and the mountains. If you can oversee the 30 degree outsides, let me tell you you'd enjoy it as well. Only me, my CSX and the mountains..   Maybe it's the CAR..   I love the CSX haha :p (No car commercials intended) Upon driving back to town, there's just people in swimming suits, and bikinis..  :p (Thank you Lord for creating beautiful people, and forgive your children for looking haha)

Baby Face Story #2

My professional educator was going around giving orientation and introducing me to the other therapist.

Educator: "This is Andy, he's on his orientation here at CSI." A: "OH, how long are you here?"
Me: "I'm going to be working here..." A: "OHHH...  Oh."

E: "This is Andy." B: "Oh HI, so what term (school year) are you?" Me: "I'm the new graduate, I'll be working here...."
Alas, the stories of the baby-face syndrome continues...

First Day On the Job - Falling Asleep On the Job

Ever remember what your first day on the job felt like. With the information overload from the first minute in step into the building to the last minute before you leave. Ain't that all fun. I'm sure all will say, "Eventually, all will become natural to you." Getting used to a new City is interesting enough, but also getting used to a NEW Hospital is also another challenge. In less than two hours I was introduced to more than 30 staff. Needless to say, I dun remember any of their names.

In the afternoon, it was another long lecture. I was pinching myself to stay awake, it was painful. The therapist that was there was trying to be sympathetic but there were still a lot of information that needed to have gone over. Afterwards, she said..  "why dun you go for a coffee and take it easy for the rest of the afternoon..." Sigh, that's so embarrassing...  I wonder what it is. Was it Boredom? Wa it jet lag? Or was it that stupid Fish and Chip I had for lunch...

Looks like it's gonna be a new learning curve all over again.
